Infraction Hearing Instructions:
The local rules of Bonney Lake Municipal Court (BLMLcR 2.1) allow you to submit an electronic/written statement in lieu of appearing in person at the hearing. If you are currently scheduled for a hearing, this form must be received by the clerk no later than three (3) days before the hearing.
**No appeal may be taken from the result of this electronic/written hearing.
** You must supply all supporting documents with this form.
Deferral:
If you do not hold a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) you may be eligible for a deferred finding in your case. If eligible your case will be continued for up to 12 months, on the condition that you pay the full amount of the deferral cost within 60 days of deferral date, and not receive any traffic violations during the deferral period and/or complete any conditions assigned by the court. If you are successful your case will be dismissed. If during the deferral period there are any new violations and/or conditions are not met the court will enter a finding of committed in your case, and report the violation to the Department of Licensing (DOL) for processing, and any suspended fines will be imposed in addition to the deferral cost. I understand that my request for a deferred finding is final. I am unable to change my decision once the judge has granted the deferral.
Washington residents are eligible for one (1) moving and one (1) non-moving violation every seven (7) years per Washington State Law. If you hold a CDL you are not eligible for a deferral per Washington State law.
